More About Me

Hi, I’m Dee Martin (she/her) - a trauma-informed therapist who believes that healing happens through connection - when you feel genuinely seen, supported, and accepted just as you are. My work focuses on helping people process painful experiences, rebuild a sense of safety in their bodies, and learn to trust their inner strength again.

I specialize in EMDR therapy because it allows us to go beyond talk and access the deeper layers of the nervous system where trauma often resides. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck caught between wanting to move forward and feeling pulled back by old patterns and feelings. Together, we work gently and intentionally to release those emotional blocks, so you can live with more clarity, peace, and self-compassion.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in community mental health, where I learned the profound importance of presence and safety in healing. I continue to integrate this belief into every session. I strive to make therapy a space where you can show up as your full self.

My approach is relational and intuitive. I draw from trauma-informed and somatic frameworks to help you make sense of what your body and emotions are communicating. I believe that healing is not linear-it unfolds in its own time, and you don’t have to do it alone.
